1.Tell us a little about yourself?

- My name is Miguel Favela. I’m a 32 year old. I am an accountant with over 15 years of experience. I graduated with my degree in accounting from New Mexico State University.

2. Why did you start Favela Consulting LLC?

- Since I was very young, I liked math and solving complex problems. I was fascinated with numbers. In 2014 I founded Favela Consulting LLC, an accounting firm for both individual and business needs.

3. What is your mission for your current and future clients?

- My slogan since opening has been “delivering on the promise” because I want to instill in my clients unwavering trustworthiness.

4.What made you gain interest in this field?

- Growing up, my single mother as an entrepreneur herself was always seeking for help to understand the tax system and how it directly affected her business. Unfortunately, year after year she only found that most tax preparers only told her the outcome of her tax situation never the why or how it may be improved. After learning the tax system myself, I was finally able to help my mother and now I strive to do the same for my community.
